Welcome to The Curiosity Club!
The John M. Barry Boys and Girls Club is proud to announce a new licensed after school program—The Curiosity Club.
Thanks to our partnership with The Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation, for the first time ever, the Club will offer small ratio childcare with an educational focus in its own dedicated space. The classroom is fully operational and the program was licensed by EEC in September of 2015. We are now accepting enrollment in this exciting new opportunity.
Open every school day from 12:30-6:00 p.m., The Curiosity Club offers a wide range of fun, educational activities—giving kids an early introduction to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). A full-time, School-age Childcare Director with experience in STEM curriculum is on hand to lead the kids in all Curiosity Club activities.
Any child in grades K to 2 is eligible to attend. Curiosity Club includes walkover service from Horace Mann School. Families registering from other elementary schools must make their own transportation arrangements to and from the program.
We invite anyone who may be interested to stop by, check out the space, meet the teacher, and review the curriculum.
